Fish Management ("we", "our", "us") is an application designed to help fishermen, boat owners and fishing businesses manage boats, fishing trips, crew members, catches, expenses, fish information and related activities.

This Privacy Policy explains how Fish Management collects, uses, stores and shares information when you use our mobile application.

1.3 Crew and Fisherman Information

The App allows boat owners or authorized users to maintain crew records, which may include:

  • Fisherman name

  • Amounts given to crew members
  • Khatabook records
  • Other information entered by the user

Users are responsible for having appropriate permission to enter information relating to other individuals.

Users may enter and store:

  • Crew members
  • Trip-related information
  • Fishing location information

1.5 Catch Information

The App may collect information entered by the user regarding fish catches, including:

  • Fish name
  • Quantity

  • Catch history

1.6 Expense and Business Information

Users may record:

  • Diesel expenses
  • Engine repair
  • Net repair
  • Ice

2. Location Information

Some Fish Management features may use location-related information.

  • Potential Fishing Zones (PFZ)
  • Fishing locations
  • Distance from a location

  • Google Maps
  • Harbor or place information

If the App requests access to your device location, the App will request the appropriate Android permission.

Location information will only be accessed when required by a feature that uses location.

Google Maps Platform may also process certain technical information and, depending on the specific Maps functionality used, location or map interaction information.

Users can control location permission through Android device settings.

3. Firebase Services

Fish Management may use Firebase services provided by Google.

Depending on the Firebase services enabled in the App, these may include:

  • Firebase Authentication
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging
  • Firebase Crashlytics
  • Firebase Analytics
  • Firebase Realtime Database or Firestore
  • Other Firebase services required for app functionality

Firebase may process information such as device identifiers, installation identifiers, crash information, device information and technical information depending on the Firebase service being used.

Firebase Authentication

Firebase Authentication may be used to securely manage user accounts and login.

Firebase Cloud Messaging

Firebase Cloud Messaging may be used to deliver notifications to your device.

Firebase uses Firebase Installation IDs to help deliver messages to specific app installations.

Firebase Crashlytics

Crashlytics may collect crash reports, stack traces, device information, application information and identifiers to help us identify and fix technical problems.

Crashlytics automatically collects certain crash and device information when enabled.

Firebase Analytics

If Firebase Analytics is enabled, information about app usage and interactions may be collected to understand how users use the App and to improve the App.

4. OneSignal Push Notifications

Fish Management may use OneSignal to send push notifications.

OneSignal may automatically process information such as:

  • Device operating system
  • Device model
  • App version
  • Push notification status
  • Push token
  • OneSignal identifiers
  • Session information
  • Device language
  • Time zone
  • Country
  • IP address, depending on configuration
  • Location, only where enabled and permitted

OneSignal may also receive information that we intentionally provide, such as a user ID, email address, phone number, tags or other notification-related information.

We use OneSignal primarily to:

  • Send important app notifications

  • Send account notifications
  • Send service updates
  • Provide other relevant app notifications

You can control notification permissions through your Android device settings.

5. Google AdMob

Fish Management may display advertisements using Google AdMob.

AdMob may collect or process information such as:

  • Advertising and measurement information
  • Other information required for advertising delivery and measurement

Google's advertising SDK generates an SDK instance ID for the app and may process information for ad delivery, measurement and related purposes.

Depending on your location and applicable laws, advertising may be personalized or non-personalized.

Where required, appropriate consent mechanisms may be provided for advertising and related data processing. Google provides consent-management mechanisms for applicable users in regions such as the EEA, UK and Switzerland.

You can also manage certain advertising preferences through your Android device and Google account settings.

6. Google Maps

Fish Management may use Google Maps Platform services to provide map and location-related functionality.

Google Maps services may collect certain technical information such as:

  • Device metadata
  • IP address
  • Maps SDK identifier
  • Crash information
  • Map interaction information

Depending on how the Maps functionality is used, location coordinates may also be processed.

7. Razorpay Payments

Fish Management may use Razorpay to process payments for applicable products or services.

When a user makes a payment through Razorpay, Razorpay may process information such as:

  • Payment-related information
  • Device and technical information

Razorpay states that it processes personal data and transaction information for payment processing and related services.

Fish Management does not directly store your complete debit card, credit card or UPI credentials unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Payment processing is handled through Razorpay and its applicable payment infrastructure.

Where supported by the relevant services, information is transmitted using encrypted connections such as HTTPS.

However, no electronic storage or Internet transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

If the App provides an account deletion option, users can use that option to submit a deletion request.

If an in-app deletion option is not available, users can contact us using the email address provided below.

After receiving a valid deletion request, we will delete or anonymize applicable personal information, subject to information that we are legally required or reasonably permitted to retain.

Important: Google Play requires apps that allow account creation to provide users with a clear and accessible account-deletion mechanism.

13. Children's Privacy

Fish Management is intended for fishermen, boat owners, fishing crews and fishing businesses.

The App is not specifically directed toward children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for unauthorized account creation.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, please contact us.

14. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for ensuring that the information they enter into Fish Management is accurate and that they have permission to enter information about other individuals.

This includes information about:

  • Fishermen

  • Customers
  • Other individuals

Users should not enter sensitive information that is not required for the App's functionality.

15. Fish Prices, Tide and PFZ Information

Fish prices, tide information, Potential Fishing Zone (PFZ) information, water depth, coordinates, distance and other fishing information may be obtained from external data sources.

This information may change and may vary based on:

  • Location
  • Season
  • Weather
  • Sea conditions
  • Market conditions
  • Data source updates

Such information is provided for general informational and planning purposes.

Fish Management does not guarantee:

  • Fish availability
  • A particular catch
  • Fish price accuracy
  • Fishing success
  • Safety of a fishing location
  • Accuracy of tide information
  • Accuracy of PFZ information

Users should independently verify important information before making fishing, navigation, financial or safety-related decisions.

16. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services that may have their own privacy policies.
